Add a Comment to a Share
When Sharing files, you can add an optional comment, which will be displayed on the recipient’s Share Delivery Page.
If the Share was delivered by My Docs Online email the comment will also be part of the message we send on your behalf to the recipient.
The comment is also displayed on the Share Details page (Share Management → Details) where it can be updated. The update does not retroactively change the comment the recipient sees.
A comment can also be an optional part of a Smart Label. Like other Smart Label optional fields (password and expiration) it will “autofill” the comment field when you select the label (if that label includes a comment). You then have the option of editing the comment before completing the Share.
