The initial default for Share Expiration (the number of days a Share is valid and the files in the Share can be downloaded) is seven (7) days.

The Group Administrator can change this default to any number of days from 1 to 9999 days.

The Group Administrator can also allow or disallow users to modify the default expiration for an individual Share (Group Administration ? Group Settings ? Share ? “Users can modify expiration”).

The Share Expiration can also be set as an option in a Smart Label. Like other Smart Label optional fields (comment and password) it will “autofill” the expiration field when you select the label (if that label includes an expiration). You then have the option of editing the expiration before completing the Share.

NOTE: Group Administrators are always allowed to modify Share Expiration.
