Deleting Folder Using Web Folders Deletes Files But Not the Folder

When using Web Folders / WebDAV in Windows 7 or Windows 8, if you delete a folder, the files in the folder (and files in any subfolders) will be deleted, but the folders will not be deleted.
This is a known issue with the Microsoft Web Folders component, and until Microsoft fixes the problem with an update the available workarounds include:
- Do a second delete of the now-empty folder
- Use the My Docs Online Desktop App or the My Docs Online Web Client
