Windows 7 Web Folder / WebDAV users may see Error 0×80070021: “The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file” if a folder name ends with a period (“.”).

Windows 7 users uploading files using Web Folders may see the last character of the file name (part of the file extension usually) disappear if a percent sign (%) is part of the file name.
This is a Windows 7 problem.
Two current workarounds are available:
